Are you a Program Manager/Planner looking for a new challenging career? Are you looking to join a growing and innovative team? Roush Industries is looking for you!! This position will be responsible the management of program deliverables from a cross functional team in order to achieve the agreed program goals and objectives The position will be responsible for leading a full vehicle integration program and keeping our timing plan up to date by meeting daily with engineering leads and providing daily reports to management regarding the status of key blocking issues and will lead reprioritization of issues as progress is made. This position is located in Allen Park, MI
Responsibilities
Write and connect detailed timing plans across an entire vehicle engineering team.
Integrate together the vehicle engineering, testing, etc. teams to resolve disconnects, drive timely decisions on trade-offs in vehicle architecture and design.
Hold teams accountable to executing according to the established and agreed upon timing plan.
Manage subcontractors to program goals and timing.
Communicate clearly and effectively to ensure the entire program is aligned in terms of goals, timing, and targets.
Qualifications
MBA with an undergratuate degree in engineering.
Minimum 3 years of applied engineering experience on a new vehicle engineering program.
Minimum 3 years of experience leading a high caliber small to medium size engineering team with responsibility for meeting aggressive schedules and program goals.
Experience planning and coordinating program deliverables
Knowledge of automotive project management methodologies.
Experience producing detailed written reports and relevant presentations
Experience as a team lead for a variety of different subsystems on a new vehicle engineering program.
Experience working through the full lifecycle of vehicle engineering development, from concept to engineering, verification, and manufacturing.
Understands typical manufacturing processes, pros/cons, associated costs, used in the automotive industry.
