Dietary Aide Location:
Allen Park - 9150 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI, 48101 The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals to residents in a long-term care facility.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents Ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with established policies and procedures Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas Assist in the preparation of special diets as needed Assist in the ordering and inventory of food and supplies Assist in the setup and cleanup of dining areas Assist in the training of new dietary staff Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in a food service setting preferred Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
