We have opportunities around the world for you to contribute to advancements in autonomy, electrification, smart mobility technologies, and more!The Interface Engineer will develop a robust interface capable of actively monitoring and controlling DERs, such as voltage regulation and power curtailment, which will allow intelligent management of energy use, optimization of EV charging, supplemental backup power, and reduction of peak energy demands.
This position entails working collaboratively with Ford internal and external teams including Software/Controls, D&R, Validation, Regulatory / Standards, and DER suppliers to design / develop a controls interface that meets corporate requirements and specifications, industry standards, and customer needs.
The selected candidate will be part of a team that will drive future product development and be developing industry first features and components in the growing field of vehicle electrification & Home Energy Management Systems!
