Summary:
The Outbound Supervisor (Night Shift) will ensure that productivity and operational goals are met in order to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction through the picking and shipping process.
This highly motivated individual will be working in a dynamic environment that focuses on delivering continuous measurable improvement to the Distribution Center and the customer.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Train and Mentor team to identify and resolve employee relations issues including performance, attendance, and code of conduct violations Provides support to the Distribution Manager regarding performance management, career development, and overall staffing strategy Review and develop proficiencies in distribution deliveries and product handling Develop and monitor KPI's for direct reports.
Develop and monitor Annual Operating Plan New employee training Coordinate all Administrative duties associated with the Distribution Center Customer satisfaction/problem solving Safety management and reporting Develop employee engagement activities that promote a positive working environment Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field Three or more years of experience supervising a large retail distribution facility.
Experience in process mapping, and revising SOP's per engineered standard.
Experience with DOT, OSHA, and all related safety regulations required Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Strong PC skills, including proficiency with Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office Preferred
Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience in distribution center focused on time sensitive shipments Experience working in a retail-based company; Experience in managing picking and shipping process Ability to create project plans and oversee assignments from inception to completion; Knowledge of warehouse and or software applications, routing and dispatch software systems preferred Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills, including ability to resolve disputes and observe confidentiality; Ability to handle multiple activities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision; Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; Ability to work in a changing environment.
Compensation:
Range of $50,000 - $60,000 Salary Monthly Bonus (KPI) Working Conditions:
Work hours are typically 7:
00pm-6:
00am, Sunday-Thursday, some additional time may be required as volume dictates.
Environment requiring long periods of standing, and operation of standard lift equipment.
