Qualifications:
Homestead offers care to the residents at Allegria Village a senior living facility in Dearborn.
We are looking for compassionate and reliable caregivers with experience passing medications, to join our team! If you understand that our residents deserve respect and dignity and can help them maintain a good quality of life, please join us.
The facility is extremly large, which requires lots of walking.
You will get your steps in.
We have all shifts available! As a MedTech for us you will be in charge of:
Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking Passing medication as primary responsibility along with hands on care to each resident Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment which may include light housekeeping Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures Assess for changes in condition and communicate immediately to supervisor Administer medications and injections to residents based on medical charts Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning Follow procedures regarding documenting of medications Utilize good judgment in providing client care and safety Assisting other team members with their duties Complete all required documents and charting Answer call lights and assess residents needs Obtain meal trays and assist with eating Other duties as assigned by supervisor Requirements:
Able to pass a criminal background check Experience passing medications and working with seniors High school diploma or GED Reliable transportation Every other weekend is required

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
